How do I join the event after my registration? 

If you already registered for the EOC2020 you will receive the link to the event via automatically generated email few hours before the Congress. If you haven’t received the email in your inbox, please check you spam folder. 

Your registration is confirmed if you have received a confirmation email. If you haven’t received the confirmation email we kindly invite you to submit your registration again. 

If you have registered but didn’t received the email or still cannot access the event try to reset your password using a button ‘’Lost secret?’’: https://eoc2020.bitaffair.events/auth/login

I lost my password to the event.

Once registering to the event you will be asked to create a unique password to access the stream of the event. If you forgot or lost the password – you can reset it by simply clicking on an action button ”Lost secret?” in the log-in page: https://eoc2020.bitaffair.events/auth/login

What equipment/program do I need to participate?

To join EOC2020 general sessions you only need a computer, tablet or a smartphone with a good internet connection and FireFox or Chrome web browser. 

To join EOC2020 break out sessions additionally you will need Zoom application in your computer, tablet or smartphone.

How can I engage in the discussion?

During the event there will be a chat, feedback (emoji) button and question function available. Via chat you will be able to comment the topic. Via question function you will be able to submit your proposal for questions* to the Congress speakers. With the feedback (emoji) button you will be able to give virtual reaction or applause to our speakers.

* Please note that the amount of questions that will reach our speakers live will be limited due to time limitations. To get an answer to a question that was brought up live we kindly invite you to address our speakers or our organisations on social media after the event.

Will the EOC sessions be recorded and available for later viewing?

All Congress 2020 session will be recorded and shared on the EOC website. 

Will the EOC be translated? 
The Congress language is English. Due to partnering organisation and supporting  institution a German interpretation will be provided as well. You will be able to choose to follow the event in an original language or click on German translation channel. 

Will I receive the list of participants? 

Due to high number of registrations and raised concerns to privacy issues, the list of the EOC2020 participants won’t be circulated between the registrants. 

Will the material of the EOC be shared with the participants? 

The materials of the Congress that can be shared, will be available on the EOC website. 

Can I listen to the EOC live audio only?

You can listen to the Congress audio only, but you must have the Congress live event window open to follow the event.
