  IFOAM EU Group is the EU working level of IFOAM – the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements. IFOAM’s goal is the worldwide adoption of ecologically, socially and economically sound systems that are based on the principles of Organic Agriculture. IFOAM EU Group is a non-profit membership-based organisation that brings together more than 250 organisations, associations and enterprises. It represents the organic movement in Europe and promotes the further development of organic food and farming.
 


Danish organic producers are members of the non-profit association, Organic Denmark, which has taken the lead within the European organic movement in terms of innovation, high quality standards and own control. Organic Denmark organises numerous well-attended national events, at which Danish consumers can see organic farming at close hand on the farms, for example ‘organic days’, when the cows are sent out to graze in the spring, and harvest markets in the autumn.Organic Denmark has more than 45 highly qualified employees involved in marketing and foreign trade, PR, lobbying, and advising on organic farming.

The Agricultural and Rural Convention (ARC) is an innovative process and a multi-stakeholder platform, open to all those interested or engaged in a profound reform of the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) of the European Union. It aims to give civil society a strong voice and prepare powerful common actions pushing for a new European agricultural and rural policy. It aims to gather and mobilise people and their organisations beyond traditional stakeholder interests.
