Ioana Dragos

North-West Regional Development (Romania – SME Organics)

Mrs. Ioana Dragos has over 15 years of experience in regional development within the North-West Regional Development Agency in Northern Transylvania, Romania, being involved in the implementation of several European projects on business support, R&D and internationalization. An expert within Enterprise Europe Network for 8 years, she is part of the European Thematic Group on Clusters and represents Romania in the Creative Industries Sector Group. She has experience in animating networks and establishing partnerships, and she has actively contributed to the setting up of several clusters in the North-West Region. She is certified as a Cluster Benchmarking Expert by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis and she is an Associated Trainer in cluster management excellence, certified by the European Foundation for Cluster Excellence. She also has vast expertise in strategic planning and programming, being involved in the elaboration of regional development plans and regional strategies. A project manager for the Interreg Europe-funded SME Organics project since 2016, she has coordinated the elaboration of the first Regional Organic Action Plan in Romania, working closely with IFOAM EU, FiBL and other organizations across Europe and Romania.
