Join a one-day excursion and discover selected organic farms and companies in Lower Austria!

Organic practices will be presented on site and can be discussed with the practitioners and among the participants of the excursion. During the excursion you will have the chance to visit:

 

The Sonnentor company will be one of the destinations the excursion will head for. Johannes Gutmann is a pioneer in fostering rural economies with organic production, starting with his herbs business back in the 1980s. In the meantime Sonnentor has grown to a company with 400 employees, selling a range of about 900 products on national and international level.  For more informaiton see www.sonnentor.com/en-gb.

We will also visit Nikolaihof, the winery of family Saahs with almost 2000 years of history, situated in the world cultural heritage region Wachau. We will have a tour through the estate including the historic wine cellar, taste their biodynamic wines and enjoy a full organic lunch.

On the farm of Alfred Grand we will exchange on innovation in the field of organic no-till farming practices and composting. His company Vermigrand is marketing Biohumus and Mr. Grand will introduce his most hardworking and smartest worker to us: the earthworm. For more information refer to www.vermigrand.com/en

Please note that registration to the congress does NOT secure a place in the excursion – additional registration and fee is needed. Number of excursion participants is limited.

 

Excursion fee is 68 EUR/pp (VAT included). Wine tasting, bus fee, beverages, and full organic lunch are included.

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: cancellation free of charge is possible up to 3 weeks before the event. If cancellation is made after and a replacement for your place is not found, you will be charged 100% of the excursion fee.
